Bi, by Living Colour

People, if they choose you, then they want you to decide
But you'd rather relax, kick back, enjoy the ride
There's a catagory if you're straight or gay
You're a wild card gambler and you like it both ways

Everybody wants you when you're bi
Looking at the girls and eyeing all the guys
Everybody loves you when you're bi
But the tension and the passion's double amplified

My lover told me, well, that she's bi
I wanted to scream, there were tears in my eyes
She said baby, baby, don't you cry
'Cause the one I am with, you've been seeing on the side

Everybody wants you when you're bi
Eating with the girls and laughing with the guys
Everybody loves you when you're bi
But the tension and the passion's double amplified

Everybody wants you when you're bi
Feeling all the girls and touching all the guys
Well, everybody loves you when you're bi

Well a friend of a friend of a friend told me
Everybody's messed up with their sexuality
Well a friend of a friend of a friend told me

I need a closet big enough to live in
A closet for the whole world to live in
I want a closet big enough to live in
A closet for the whole world to live in

Everybody wants you when you're bi
Loving all the girls and loving all the guys
Everybody needs you when you're bi
But the tension and the passion's double amplified

Everybody wants you
That's right
Everybody needs you
Um-hum
Everybody likes you
I'll bet
Everybody loves you

Bi
Licking all the girls
Licking all the guys

Everybody's fucked up with their sexuality
You like it both ways
Like it both ways
Bi

  • "You havent done nothing" - Stevie Wonder

We are amazed but not amused
By all the things you say that you'll do
Though much concerned but not involved
With decisions that are made by you

But we are sick and tired of hearing your song
Telling how you are gonna change right from wrong
'Cause if you really want to hear our views
    "You haven't done nothing"!

It's not too cool to be ridiculed
But you brought this upon yourself
The world is tired of pacifiers
We want the truth and nothing else

And we are sick and tired of hearing your song
Telling how you are gonna change right from wrong
'Cause if you really want to hear our views
    "You haven't done nothing"!

Jackson 5 join along with me say
Doo doo wop - hey hey hey
Doo doo wop - wow wow wow
Doo doo wop - co co co
Doo doo wop - naw naw naw
Doo doo wop - bum bum bum
    Doo doo wop

We would not care to wake up to the nightmare
    That's becoming real life
But when mislead who knows a person's mind
Can turn as cold as ice un hum

Why do you keep on making us hear your song
Telling us how you are changing right from wrong
'Cause if you really want to hear our views
    "You haven't done nothing"!
    Yeah

Jackson 5 sing along again say
    Doo doo wop
    Doo doo wop - oh
Doo doo wop - co co co
Doo doo wop - sing it baby
Doo doo wop - bum bum bum
    Doo doo wop - um
Sing it loud for your people say
Doo doo wop - um um um

Doo doo wop - stand up be counted, say
Doo doo wop - co co co
    Doo doo wop - ow
Doo doo wop - bum bum bum
Doo doo wop - ah hum
  • I love that song "bi" by Living Color too by the way. : )
    • EVERYDAY PEOPLE
      Sly and the Family Stone

Sometimes I'm right and I can be wrong
My own beliefs are in my song
The butcher, the banker, the drummer and then
Makes no difference what group I'm in
I am everyday people, yeah yeah

There is a blue one who can't accept the green one
For living with a fat one trying to be a skinny one
And different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo-bee
Oh sha sha - we got to live together

I am no better and neither are you
We are the same whatever we do
You love me you hate me you know me and then
You can't figure out the bag l'm in
I am everyday people, yeah yeah

There is a long hair that doesn't like the short hair
For bein' such a rich one that will not help the poor one
And different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo-bee
Oh sha sha-we got to live together

There is a yellow one that won't accept the black one
That won't accept the red one that won't accept the white one
And different strokes for different folks
      Oh sha sha-

      I am everyday people.

      SOMEBODY'S WATCHING YOU
      Sly and the Family Stone
      Little Sister

pretty pretty pretty as a picture
witty witty witty as you can be
blind cause your eyes see only glitter
closed to the things that make you free

ever stop to think about a downfall
happens at the end of every line
just when you think you’ve pulled a fast one
happens to the foolish all the time

      somebody’s watching you (4’xs)

games are to played with toys etcetera
love is to be made when you’re for real
ups and downs are caused by life in general
some are yours no matter how you feel

shady as a lady in a mustache
feelings camouflaged by groans and grins
secrets have a special way about them
moving to and fro among your friends

      somebody’s watching you (4’xs)

live it up today if you want to
      live it down tomorrow afternoon
sunday school don’t make you cool forever
neither does the silver of your spoon

the nicer the nice the higher the price
this is what you pay for what you need
the higher the price the nicer the nice
jealous people like to see you bleed

somebody’s watching you (4x’s and fades out)

      EVERY KINDA PEOPLE
      Robert Palmer

Said the fight to make ends meet
Keeps a man upon his feet
      Holding down his job
Trying to show he can’t be bought

Ooh it takes every kinda people
To make what life’s about, yeah
      Every kinda people
To make the world go ’round

      Someone’s looking for a lead
In his duty to a king or to a creed
Protecting what he feels is right
Fights against wrong with his life

      There’s no profit in deceit
      Honest men know that
      Revenge does not taste sweet
      Whether yellow, black or white
Each and every man’s the same inside

      It takes every kinda people
To make what life’s about, yeah
      It takes every kinda people
To make the world go ’round
      Doo doo doo......

You know that love’s the only goal
That could bring a peace to any soul
Hey and every man’s the same
He wants the sunshine in his name

      It takes every kinda people
To make what life’s about, yeah
      It takes every kinda people
To make the world go ’round
      Mmmm, every kinda people
      To make what life’s about
      • the first song that comes to my mind is IMAGINE by John Lennon

        Imagine there's no heaven
        It's easy if you try
        No hell below us
        Above us only sky
        Imagine all the people
        Living for today...

        Imagine there's no countries
        It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
        And no religion too
        Imagine all the people
        Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

        Imagine no possessions
        I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
        A brotherhood of man
        Imagine all the people
        Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
  • Talk To Strangers - Saul Williams

    Nah.
I wasn’t raised at gunpoint and I’ve read too many books
to distract me from the mirror when unhappy with my looks
and I ain’t got proper diction for the makings of a thug
though I grew up in the ghetto and my niggers all sold drugs,
and though that may validate me for a spot on MTV
or get me all the airplay that my bank account would need,
I was hoping to invest in a lesson that I learned
I thought this fool had jumped me just because it was my turn.
I went to an open space 'cause I knew he wouldn’t do it
if somebody there could see him or somebody else might prove it,
and maybe, in your eyes, it may seem I got punked out
'cause I walked a narrow path and then went and changed my route.
But that openness exposed me to a truth I couldn’t find
in the clenched fists of my ego or the confines of my mind
or the hipness of my swagger, or the swagger in my step,
or the scowl of my grimace, or the meanness of my rep.
'cause we represent a truth son, the changes by the hour,
and when you open to it, vulnerability is power,
and in that shifting form you’ll find a truth that doesn’t change
and that truth is living proof of the fact that God is strange…

    Talk to strangers
when the family fails and friends lead you astray
when Buddha laughs and Jesus weeps and it turns out God is gay.
'Cause angels and messiahs love can come in many forms:
in the hallways of your projects, or the fat girl in your dorm,
and when you finally take the time to see what they’re about
perhaps you find them lonely or their wisdom trips you out.

maybe you’ll find the spot where cycles end you're back where you began,
but come this time around you’ll have someone to hold your hand,
who prays for you who is there for you who sends you love and light,
exposes you to parts of you that you once tried to fight.
But come this time around you'll choose to walk a different path,
you'll embrace what you turned away and cry at what you laughed,
'cause that’s the only way we’re going to make it through this storm,
where ignorance is common sense and senselessness the norm.
And flags wave high above the truth and the two never touch
and stolen goods are overpriced and freedom costs too much,
and no one seems to recognize the symbols come to life,
the bitten apple on the screen and Jesus had a wife,
and she was his Messiah like that stranger may be yours,
who holds a subtle knife that carves through worlds like magic doors,
and that’s what I’ve been looking for, the bridge from then to now,
just watching BET like what the fuck son? this is foul
But that square box don't represent the sphere that we live in,
the earth is not a flat screen I ain’t trying to fit in.
But this ain’t for the underground this here is for the sun.
A seed a stranger gave to me and planted on my tongue.
And when I look at you, I know I’m not the only one.
As a great man once said,
    there’s nothing more powerful
    than an idea
    who’s time
    has come.
