When it comes to you picking up a recording artist's music or latest album in the market, do you often or not too often find yourself first paying attention to what the magazine or radio music DJs and critics have to say regarding that artist's music or not?

Sat, September 13, 2008 - 12:35 AMI read things in magazines. Critics opinions dont mean a whole lot to me. I have to hear stuff and if I like it I'll buy it. If Ihear things I like now I write down the lyrics and look it up on YouTube and see if I like it. My opinion is the most important critique to me. : ) -

Mon, September 15, 2008 - 12:38 PMI appreciate some writers/ critics, like David Fricke from Rolling Stone. He seems to have a very eclectic and assorted taste in music...and is willing to be judgmental and not mean about stuff....normally I wont buy a cd only on some critics opinion, I would trust one of my closest friends to suggest something before a critic
